What areas can be treated with dermal filler?

Cheeks By adding volume to the area above and around your cheekbones, we can achieve a more defined bone structure. Injecting filler volume under your skin layer can also smooth out wrinkles, fine lines and lift the mid-face, improving the nasolabial folds. Lips Lip filler can be used to restore volume, lift and improve symmetry to create a beautiful lip. Under Eye – Tear Trough As we age, we lose some of the fat pads that surround the face and by using filler we can correct the volume loss under the eyes to give a more youthful (not so tired) look. Marionette Lines Sometimes referred to as ‘the puppet look’, these lines run from the corners of the mouth to the chin and can result in a sad appearance which can be corrected with filler. Jawline and Chin This is a popular treatment for all ages – patients range from younger individuals who have a genetically weaker jaw to those patients who have lost the strength of their jawline as a result of ageing. This is a suitable treatment to correct symmetry, soften jowls, improve ‘double chins’, or to give a stronger more defined jawline. Accordion Lines Smiling or laughing lines are the static wrinkles that are present even when you are not smiling. What do The Icon recommend in terms of aftercare?

It’s normal to experience some tenderness/ redness or swelling during the first 24- 48 hours post-dermal filler treatment. Use cool compresses to reduce any swelling or bruising, keep your skin clean and free of makeup for at least 24 hours and if you experience any unusual side effects, please contact us directly for advice.
