What is a Matrix Mono Thread Lift Treatment?
The Matrix PDO brand of threads are another method of tightening and thickening your skin as well as rectifying sagging skin. They are a type of single PDO filament, are smooth and without barbs.
Matrix PDO Threads are inserted into the sub dermal level, in a mesh-like pattern, to promote the creation of new collagen. The threads activate collagen synthesis which produces a gradual skin thickening, skin tightening and rejuvenation effect.
This is a minimally invasive procedure and can also be used multiple times.
Suitable candidates for this skin threading treatment are those people who are beginning to see noticeable signs of ageing. The treatment is best suited for sagging skin and tissue on the face, neck, jawline and more.

What are Matrix PDO Threads made from?
Our mono threads are made from Polydioxanone – an absorbable polymer. This material is both flexible and durable.
The threads become a structure for your face, allowing collagen production to increase. Overtime, the threads are absorbed by the body.
How does Matrix PDO Thread Lift tightening work?
PDO Threads induces production of collagen, creating a tightening effect for 6 to 12 months after your procedure. The threads become a support structure for your face, allowing natural collagen production to take place.
What happens during the Matrix PDO Thread Lift Procedure, are Thread Lifts safe?
After receiving a local anaesthetic, Matrix PDO Threads will be inserted using a micro-needle or cannula. The treatment is a very customised procedure, we will work cloesly with you to achieve optimal results. This treatment is not invasive and therefore doesn’t involve any sort of incisions, meaning stitches are not required.
Post Procedure - When will I see results?
You will begin to see results in 6 weeks which continue to improve over the next 2 to 6 months as new collagen is produced.
